Grain-Fed Backgrounding & Agistment
We offer commercial-scale grain-fed backgrounding and agistment in the Burdekin best suited to younger dry cattle, with flexibility around weight depending on class, type and program objectives.
Our program is designed for backgrounding cattle rather than breeding stock, and suits producers looking for steady commercial growth, reliable management and clear market pathways.
With capacity for up to 1,000 head, we can accommodate programs from six months through to two years, depending on cattle type, season and client requirements.
Our operation is built around practical, commercial outcomes, with a quality forage and pasture base, experienced cattle management, good water, sound fencing and handling facilities, and access to northern processing and feedlot pathways. For suitable cattle, there is also the option to grain-finish through our on-site accredited feedlot.
Weight gains will vary depending on cattle type, season, pasture conditions and target market, but our programs are designed to support steady commercial performance aligned with your preferred outcome.
